FREDERICK, Md. – At Summers Farm in Frederick County, the yearly fall adventure is already taking place.

Children have the time of their lives at the farm while going on hayrides and picking their own pumpkins. Kids even get to pet the farm animals, which include a goat and the cutest miniature horses you ever saw. (One little cutie even bit 黑料不打烊’s David Burd on the backside.)

Teresa Summers Greenwood and her husband, Jeff Greenwood, are third-generation owners of the Frederick farm. They keep the outdoor amusement park open through October, and there are plenty of adventures to enjoy.

“We have slides, we have duck races, we have a pumpkin punisher,” says Jeff.

A pumpkin punisher?

“(It’s a) big pumpkin cannon that shoots a big 12-pound pumpkin into a target,” Jeff says.

But when asked what the most popular thing to do on the farm was, Jeff didn’t hesitate.

“Probably our slides, we’ve had those for about 12 years.”

And you don’t have to be a kid to enjoy the slides. Watch the video below to see Burd in action.

The farm will be open until Election Day, Nov. 6. To see hours and admission prices and to get directions, visit the .
